What do you think of when you hear Red Ghost, Fresno, Jay’s Peach Ghost Scorpion (JPGS), Reapers, or Charapita? That’s right-hot peppers. The Pepper Princess, located in Hampton, NH, began growing hot and superhot peppers about 25 years ago both inside and outside, hydroponically and in soil. She currently has about 50 hot pepper plants growing and producing peppers to be used in a variety of hot pepper products, jams, hot pepper jellies, hot salts and infused salts. She sells her spicy wares online, to local restaurants, and in local grocery stores and specialty shops.
Her Instagram is full of colorful pepper imagery, great stories featuring her growing experiences, and a recipe or two. She even welcomes followers to send a DM if they need any growing help from the pepper royalty.
She said she has used every possible fertilizer available and after watching a YouTube video about kratky and passive growing, began to use Masterblend – and has used it ever since. In addition to her amazing peppers, she grows lots of microgreens and some garden veggies (see the amazing zucchini root picture above).
